ONLINE COURSE: The History of Wine with Jimmy Smith
'From the Cradle of Wine to the Judgement of Paris to Today'
From Georgia to the Roman Empire to the Judgement of Paris to today, wine has been produced and enjoyed for thousands of years. This exciting tasting goes through the rich history of winemaking throughout the centuries and includes a tasting of 12 different wines indicative of the different styles consumed throughout history.

COURSE STRUCTURE AND FORMAT:
Each week Jimmy Smith will present important milestones in the history of wine. He will host each tasting session live at 8:30pm over 6 consecutive Fridays. Each tasting session will be 30-45 minutes in length. Unable to commit to each evening? No problem! Anyone registered for this course will gain access to the video recordings of each tasting session, so you can always revisit any of these at anytime in the future - whether its because you missed participating in the live evening or if you want to revisit the presentation at a later date.
Each evening, Jimmy will also be tasting two wines that are representative of the styles discussed during that evening's session. A case of each wine covered throughout the course (12 in total) will be available to order for anyone registered to attend the course, so if you'd like, you can also purchase and enjoy the wines with Jimmy (or at a later date). The cost for this 12 bottle case is £225.
The 12 Wines included in the optional tasting case are from the following countries:
